INSIDER’S TIP: @JordanOkun just pointed this out, in one of his IG posts, but the “Bar Menu” at Wolfgang’s is one of the best deals in LA. Only down side is no Porterhouse, so its a tough call, but next time you are looking for steak, especially if you are looking for a place to watch a sporting event, this is a great option.
WHAT TO ORDER: Any cocktail with Blue Cheese Olives, Wedge, Bacon, Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters, Porterhouse for 2, Creamed Spinach, Sautéed Broccoli, German Potatoes, Sautéed Mushrooms and Cheesecake.

NOTES: As a Peter Luger’s loyalist, it was hard to accept Wolfgang’s as an option. Even though Wolfgang Zwiener was one of the head waiters at Peter Luger for 30+ years it always felt like I was cheating on Luger’s when I ate at Wolfgang’s. When I moved to LA, I realized that Luger’s disciple is as close to the original as you can get. Now, I think Wolfgang’s has the best steak in LA, but that is specific to the Porterhouse. But important note, the steak for 2 is more then enough for 3 people, plus you need room for the bacon and a nice piece of cheesecake (extra schlag of course) at the end. Wolfgang’s is a great multi-purpose restaurant. I have been there on a date night, work dinners, couples dinners and even just with Sawyer. Side note: Wolfgang’s brings in their steak, bacon and cheesecake from NYC (the Cheesecake is from Junior’s).
