WHAT TO ORDER: The DTF order is very specific for me, I do change it up every so often, try new things and cater to my audience. You can modify it a bit, but here it is. Seaweed and Bean Curd, Cucumber Salad, Fried Pork Chop, Shrimp and Pork Spicy Wonton, Shanghai Rice Cake with Pork, Green Beans, Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Hot and Sour Soup, Pork Potstickers, Red Bean Xiao Long Bao (dessert).

NOTES: It is literally my favorite restaurant in the world. It is near perfection. It is rare to find a place with almost no flaws. I started going about 15 years ago when there was only one in Los Angeles in Arcadia. First with friends, then with Riley, then with Riley & Sawyer, then with their friends. At one point we had a crew of almost 20 that would go and EVERYONE loved it. This is a place for all: vegetarians, meat lovers, non asian food fans; there is something for everyone. Finally, say what you want but this is the XLB standard, there is no better. The great thing is wether you go to Arcadia, Glendale and now Century City, no matter what the meal will be perfect. I used to think they just weighed every XLB dough, but with the open kitchen in Century City I now know they weigh the dumpling multiple times just to make sure it is perfect. It is truly the perfect restaurant. Last week we went twice for Sawyer’s Birthday, it was like Christmas came early. My dream one day is to go to the original in Taipei.
